Green And Vegan Pop Up Dining
The events are hosted every fortnight in summer (Nov 2, 16, 30 and Dec 14 and 28) and once a month in winter (Jul 13, Aug 10 and Oct 05) to a diverse group of local and international diners. A welcome drink is available on arrival and seats are named at the long table before the food is served.
Patrick and Karen are not only committed vegans, but also aspire to live a sustainable lifestyle.
Based on their struggle to eat out, the pair also do numerous vegan cooking courses both online and mostly in Europe. Their passion for refining and improving the quality of vegan food on offer is what drives them to continually study more.
They pride themselves on friendships that have formed across the table and interesting conversations guests have enjoyed. There is soft background music but the evening is about meeting people outside normal social circles and learning something new.
The menu typically includes a starter, amuse bouche, main course, a trio of desserts, Vegan Cheeze platter and a choice of tea or coffee. Menus are posted on either their Facebook page or Instagram profile closer to the event date. The venue is not licensed so guests are requested to bring their own wine, beer or beverage of choice. No corkage is charged.
It is not a requirement to be vegan to attend. Most guests are not, but are curious to try plant-based dining.
