CORPORATE INCOME TAX
Completion and submission of all income tax related returns for Companies and Close Corporations (ITR14, IT14SD, IRP6) plus liaising and following up with SARS re income tax assessments, audits, tax clearances etc.
In addition to annual returns, every business is required to submit provisional tax returns (IRP6). These returns are required to be submitted every six months and must contain estimated figures of total revenue earned for that period and to pay over taxes in respect of the income estimated for that period.
Corporate Income Tax (CIT), or ‘Business Tax’, is a tax imposed on legal businesses which derives income within South Africa, or through a branch or permanent establishment within South Africa.
INDIVIDUAL INCOME TAX
Completion and submission of income tax returns (ITR12), plus liaising and following up with SARS re income tax assessments, audits, tax clearances etc.
Income tax is the normal tax which is paid on your taxable income.
Examples of amounts an individual may receive, and from which the taxable income is determined, include:
- Remuneration (income from employment), such as, salaries, wages, bonuses, overtime pay, taxable (fringe) benefits, allowances and certain lump sum benefits
- Profits or losses from a business or trade
- Income or profits arising from an individual being a beneficiary of a trust
- Director’s fees
- Investment income, such as interest and foreign dividends
- Rental income or losses
- Income from royalties
- Pension income
- Certain capital gains
TRUST INCOME TAX
Completion and submission of Trust income tax returns (ITR12T) plus liaising and following up with SARS re income tax assessments, audits, tax clearances etc.
A trustee must keep, at the office of the trust, accounting records that fairly represent the trust’s state of affairs and business and explain its transactions and financial position. These records must be available for inspection by any trustee or beneficiary. The trustees are responsible for producing annual financial statements.
VALUE ADDED TAX
Calculation of Value Added Taxation owing to The South African Revenue Services or refundable by The South African Revenue Services where requested by our clients.
Completion and submission of the VAT201 Value Added Tax returns as required by The South African Revenue Services where requested by our clients.
Submission of relevant documents to SARS with regards to any review of VAT201 submissions by SARS.
Liaising and following up with SARS re any issues with VAT201 submissions and SARS review of VAT201 returns.
Completion and submission of all payroll related returns (PAYE, UIF, SDL, WCA, UI19, EMP501 Reconciliations)
Provision of full payroll function where required by our clients.
Review and maintenance of general ledgers, debtors, creditors, cashbooks etc as completed by clients internal accounting staff.
Full function bookkeeping to balance sheet.
Maintenance of statutory records where required.
Completion and submission of CIPC annual returns where required.
EXTERNAL AUDIT PREPARATION
Preparation of audit files on behalf of clients in preparation for an audit.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Independent Review in accordance with ISRE 2400 and The Companies Act, South Africa.
Compilation of annual financial statements on behalf of clients in compliance with related reporting frameworks.
Acting as Accounting Officer to various entities in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
Statutory registrations (PAYE, UIF, SDL, WCA, Department of Labour, VAT etc) where required
