Instant Easel

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

What you'll need:

  • Pair of over-the-door hooks
  • Large roll of paper
  • Curtain rod
  • Tape

How to make it:

  • To make the easel, hang a pair of over-the-door hooks from your door, then thread a large roll of paper onto a curtain rod and set it in the hooks, as shown below (we got our setup at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for about $15).
  • Whenever you want to use the easel, pull the paper down to the bottom of the door and tape it in place at the top and bottom (that way, your tot can't pull the roll into a giant heap on the floor). Keep the tape and scissors nearby so you can easily refresh the canvas as needed.
  • Tips: If your door has panels, tape a piece of cardboard behind the paper to give your child a flat drawing surface.
