Description

What you'll need:

  • Wooden serving tray
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paper
  • Crayons
  • Scissors
  • Permanent marker
  • Clear sealant (we used Mod Podge)

How to make it:

  • Paint the wooden serving tray and let it dry.
  • Have each grandchild decorate a piece of paper with crayons.
  • Trace the children's hands on their papers, cut out the tracings, and use a permanent marker to label them with the artists' names.
  • Arrange the hands on the tray, then cover them with a coat of clear sealant (we used Mod Podge). Let it dry, then cover the entire tray with one more clear coat.
